Top Fives: Mountain Sounds Festival 2015

Mountain Sounds Festival will hit the Central Coast in New South Wales this weekend so we chose five artists who we're excited to see perform.

This weekend we'll be witnessing the return of Mountain Sounds Festival, which successfully debuted last year on the Central Coast in New South Wales.

With the line up securing nine spots in the Triple J Hottest 100 this year, it's certainly safe to say the organisers did another wonderful job at booking some of the most worshipped artists in the country at the moment.

The bill on this occasion includes ALISON WONDERLAND, who will be performing her live show for the very first time, ARIA Award winners DZ DEATHRAYS, THE KITE STRING TANGLE, NORTHEAST PARTY HOUSE, SAFIA, TOUCH SENSITIVE, KILTER, THE JUNGLE GIANTS, HATCH and many more. Here are our top five picks to see at Mountain Sounds Festival:

DZ DEATHRAYS:

What to expect: Creating a flawless rock show of a brutal intensity, this band are a highlight of almost every festival they play.

NORTHEAST PARTY HOUSE

What to expect: An extremely energetic performance made up of catchy electronic punk by one of Australia's most underrated live acts.

LUKE MILLION

What to expect: A feel good disco set which will feature a combination of his original productions, remixes and edits.

TOUCH SENSITIVE

What to expect: Plenty of epic bass guitar jamming and a memorable hands in the air moment during his track 'Pizza Guy'.

THE KITE STRING TANGLE

What to expect: An artist who appears to be improving his live show following every performance, TKST will provide us with crystal clear vocals over smooth electronic beats in the lush setting of Mt Penang Parklands.
