TEEF Release 'Imperium In Imperio' Compilation

1 June 2015 | 6:26 pm | Hannah Galvin

Sydney record label, TEEF, have released their huge Imperium In Imperio compliation made up of previously unreleased material to raise funds for OXFAM.

Sink your TEEF into this tasty, colossal compliation, for the aforementioned puntastic Sydney record label have sourced a bunch of previously unreleased material that is destined to melt your brain in the best way possible.

Consisting of 16 tracks, Imperium In Imperio has rescued a list of brilliantly obscure electronic tunes that would have otherwise been completely discarded. Allowing a platform to voice the gorgeous sounds of Australia's forward thinkers, the mixtape homes an elite fleet of ambient, dance and ethereal electronica.

You'll find the bumpy ride that is Collarbones' 'Never Giving Up'; a track that didn't quite make it onto their third record, ReturnSetec's crackly lullaby, 'Where Will You Be'; the sexed up, smoothed out soul of 'The End' by Spirit Faces, and the rich percussive force driving Darcy Baylisakmde's collaborative single, 'Ground Effect'.

An incredibly innovative packet of songs, it's astounding to think that we most probably would never have heard any of these amazing off-cuts. Thanks to TEEF, you can not just listen to these tunes, but own them too, for the entire Imperium In Imperio compilation is available as a "name your price" download! With the option of nabbing the mixtape for free, do consider that any money made from the download will be donated to OXFAM's Nepal Relief Fund.
