As part of his forthcoming LP release, Point, Brisbane producer CHARLES MURDOCH has dropped the video for the album's first taste 'Straws'.

Remix lord Charles Murdoch, first came across our radar back in 2013 and since then has brought forth his, Weathered StraightEP with Future Classic and THAT MANY amazing remixes (see below). But, it is now so brilliant to see him coming into his own with an original track and video that encapsulate his avid sensitivity and understanding for progressive electronic music.

The ever so ominous 'Straws', is something that brings together the right amount of brain melting bass elements with the lightness of house. It's ambient tones blanket over pop synths and reverberated repetitive vocals to create some deeply anthemic and powerful.

The video, directed by Faraz Shariat equally sets out to portray something dangerous and profoundly unique about the masculine identity. Following a group of 4 middle aged men, slightly varying in age, we see them sharing a strong bond. The video unfolds them in a number of settings together, often in slow motion and in the snow. These men walk together, train together, fight together, drink together and also sleep together.
