A Sydney-Sider's Guide To Melbourne w/ Basenji

Unfortunately if you're not from Melbourne, any time you're in Melbourne, you have Melbourners telling you where to go, what to see, where to eat and where to party etc. It's just what we do. But what if you had a shot to tell others where to go in Melbourne, even if you're from Sydney?

Well that's exactly what we've gotten BASENJI to do. Although based in Sydney, Seb frequents Melbourne due to his crazy tour schedule/loving the city - the latest reason, this weekend's massive I OH YOU Warehouse Party.

Over the last couple of years he's managed to pick up some favourite spots that he never misses heading to, and now he's offering them up to you. So let a Sydney-sider tell you like it is in Melbourne for once. This is Basenji's Guide to Melbourne.

Distal Phalanx

This is one of my favourite places to shop for clothes in Melbourne, they are right in the city and everyone working there is super nice. They stock really interesting clothes and support lots of local

talent! I visit every time I’m in town!

Shandong Mama

This is a great restaurant, really nice Chinese food and really affordable!

Revolver Upstairs

Revolver is a great place to go for a drink around 7am. I have been here a few times, my favourite visit was when Bicep played an extended set (like 5 hours maybe??).

Auction Rooms

This is a super nice café that i have been to a few times now. The menu is great, but I find servings are a little small. Amazing atmosphere and nice coffee =^.^=

Lentil As Anything (Abbotsford)

Lentil as Anything is the famous restaurant where you can “pay as you feel”. This specific restaurant in Abbotsford is one of their nicer locations as you can take you food outside and sit in the sun. Really nice place to go to get lunch and sometimes they have live music!
