mixmasters

Mixmasters

Mixmasters is a world-class studio situated in the Adelaide Hills. At the heart is a SSL 4048E/G console with an amazing collection of outboard gear. All the classics are here. Neve, API, Pulteq Lexicon and Eventide just to name a few. They even have a plate reverb built into the roof. And to top it off they have a Studer A820 2” tape machine.

Twin Earth

Twin Earth

I only recently discovered this gem in Somerton Park. There is a Studer A820 tape machine and a Neotek Elite Mk2 Console, an amazing collection of mics and most importantly a fridge full of beer!

Oscar 9

Oscar 9

The newest edition to the Adelaide studio scene is Oscar 9. Filled with an array of vintage synthesizers and a SSL 6000E console. I can tell that I will be spending a lot of time here.

Chapel Lane

Chapel Lane

Located within an old church, this studio sports an impressive 72 Channel SSL Duality Console. A nice mix of modern and vintage gear with the usual suspects like Manley, Urei, Emprical labs and an Otari MTR90 24 Track 2” Tape machine.

Capital Sound

Capital Sound

This cool little studio is hidden away right in the heart of the city. It’s got a SSL5000 and an awesome collection of vintage guitars and drums. The best part is you can even stay there.
