Live Review: Lojack 'Lipstick' Ft Maribelle (Tigerilla Remix)

He’s already released tracks with Allday (as well as performing with him), and now he’s gone and done one of the more exciting remixes we’ve heard in some time. If you don’t know about TIGERILLA yet, we can’t help but feel that’s all about to change, and his remix of Lojack’s ‘Lipstick’ featuring Maribelle is definitely going to help him out.

Taking the original and putting his own Tigerilla flavour into it, he has taken it from the bassy club to the sunny beach. Tropical and warm, he's chopped and sliced his way through Lojack's thick bed of production to amp it up a few levels and inject some serious grooves. On top of this, he's spliced Maribelle's pop star quality vocals for some added texture, Tigerilla's take on 'Lipstick' is one hell of a fun time.

Said to be working on new material, things are looking pretty good right now for Tigerilla. The Melbourne producer not only will be touring with Allday as he sets off to tour the US soon, but he manages another artist named Mallrat and seems to be doing just fine when it comes to his solo material.

I have it on good authority that he really brings it when it comes to his live shows too, so he should definitely be added to your "Must See" list.
