20 August 2015 | 4:55 pm | Hannah Galvin

We're walking you through some of our favourite acts on the 2015 Lost Paradise lineup!

Ever wanted to head out of the city, road-trip to a grassy estate and pump out The Choirboys', 'Run To Paradise' with an actual purpose? Well now you can!

Offering a music lineup of much more current profiles, Glenworth Valleys LOST PARADISE is returning to its natural habitat for its second event to take place over this New Years Eve, donning the theme #Back2Nature. With an enormous roster of both live acts and DJs illustrating the 2015 edition, you're also encouraged to partake in yoga workshops, devour delicious food and experience the outdoor art installations; all whilst joining an extremely unique festival community of like-minded creatures forever chasing the core of our sonic realm.

First release tickets have already been polished off, so we're taking you through our favourite acts adorning the bill to prevent you from weeping in a pool of regret once that dreaded "Allocation Exhaustion" devil stamps itself all over Pulse Radio. Okaaaay!

THE BABE RAINBOW - Revoluntionising the jangle of a guitar and the flare of a pair of trousers sees this Byron Bay trio appropriate the 1960s in impeccably colourful style. Time to groove out to sitars!

CITY CALM DOWN - Akin to the New Romantics era, the Melbourne group don a deep vocal against a very technical myriad of both live instruments and electronic sounds; a blend they've come to master and will surely be present in their forthcoming debut record, In A Restless House.

CRAZY P - Five members, seven albums, twenty years of experience and an amalgamation of electronic dreams means that Crazy P (formerly known as Crazy Penis) will most definitely keep you on your feet this Lost Paradise. Seriously, try and name every single sound you hear in their tunes. Impossible.

FOUR TET (DJ SET) - There's not many producers out there who can say they've released a TWO-track album that plays for 40 minutes in length. Four Tet's capacity of composing electronic personalities weaved into poetic narratives is insanely impressive and a joy to experience live.

GEORGE MAPLE - Combining soul with dance and electronic music, Future Classic signee, George Maple is the owner of a captivating voice and magical stage presence. Feminine yet feisty, check out her debut EP, Vacant Space.

HOCKEY DAD - This Sydney South Coast duo are straight up genius songwriters and performers. Exercising soaring vocals, pounding rhythms and addictive melodies, it's amazing listening to them knowing there's only two pairs of hands creating all of that sound.

I KNOW LEOPARD - Suited to a sunsetting slot, I Know Leopard approach their craft with grace and artistic prowess. Predominantly made up of vocals, guitars, percussion and keys, expect the odd synth thrown in, maybe even a violin!

JAMIE XX (DJ SET) - It can be so difficult for artists to create something really powerful once they've stepped away from their respective band to work solo, so if there's anyone to look up to it's Jamie xx. Completely in awe of his ability, the mood of his debut album, In Colour definitely reflects each stain of the rainbow, and will undoubtedly go down as one of 2015's bests.

JON HOPKINS - The way this British producer chops and skews his production is unbelievable. Whether he's creating the fragility of a heartbreaking tale, or is whipping up an intensely fierce tune that resonates with an action scene, his application and technique is distinctive and very much a joy to experience.

LIME CORDIALE - Here's a play on genre: Drum & Brass.

MOTOR CITY DRUM ENSEMBLE (DJ SET) - Inspired by jazz, soul, hip hop and funk, the German house pioneer skilfully samples vocals against frenetic beats on endless synth plains. Glance back at his Raw Cuts series for some perspective.

OCEAN ALLEY - A surf-rock Sydney group with a love for reggae is probably the best way to aesthetically describe the sound of Ocean Alley. Crazy fun to get loose to, be sure to catch their set at Lost Paradise!

PHONDUPE (DJ SET) - Experimental trip-hopper, Phondupe creates really heavy soundscapes led by feeling, sometimes causing mood swings due to the imbalanced nature of his production's journies. Clever, alluring and thought provoking.

POLISH CLUB - Ever since this duo brought out, 'Able', they've turned into promiscuous performers in that their name has appeared on many a bill all over Sydney's live music scene; pushing out their loud yet soulful charm into the ears of so many thankful gig-goers.

SEEKAE - Where does one even start with these lords? Having released three very different records over the past seven years, the progression of their live show has turned into one of the most captivating performances around; thanks to the boundless room for growth they allow into their songwriting. DO NOT MISS THEM.

STEVE SMYTH - Never have I watched a man of such creativity possess such incredible energy on stage, all whilst translating immense passion into his live show. A voice so large and just downright ridiculous, it should actually be illegal to cradle this much talent. What on earth.

For the entire Lost Paradise lineup, check out their official video below!

Lost Paradise will take place at Glenworth Valley from the 29th December until 31st December, 2015. Tickets can be purchased via Pulse Radio, be sure to snap one up before it's too late!
