1 October 2015 | 5:30 pm | Hannah Galvin

Perth boutique festival, Wonderland, has just announced its first run of acts for the 2015 edition.

Amidst the haul of Australian Summer festival lineup announcements, our hands are once again coming together for the diversity of Wonderland festivals first round of performing artists.

Entering its fifth year, Perths most adventurous boutique festival will for the first time ever welcome international acts, as well as introduce bespoke bars and gourmet food, because your tummies and health matter. Also expect the return of The Village for you thrift shoppers, as well as a wild arts & craft program underway. What haven't they thought of?

Setting up camp by the river in Langley Park for the 2015 instalment, it should be a pretty beautiful day out to indulge in such a creative event. With a handful of surprises to be revealed in the lead-up to the festival, we're going to focus on the Wonderland lineup as we know it so far! Let's check out who will be delighting you in mid-December, 2015.

The absolute queen of festivals, this Sydney sider has been pumping up rooms full of party goers for a few years now. Dropping huge beats and mixing insane rhythms from her talented buddies, the DJ/producer has also released her own material; delivered in album form through EMI in March this year. Slaying audiences with her Wonderland Warehouse Project series, it's sure to be a pretty wild set. Who's bringing the Belvedere?

Caleb and Georgia Nott are a brother-sister duo from New Zealand. Working within the electronic indie domain, the pair have skillfully been encapsulating dark moods and exploring the depth of heavy electronica. Initially releasing their eponymous EP in 2014, they've since caught the attention of fans from across the globe, including Lorde's co-writer, Joel Little. Going on to release their debut album, Evergreen, take the opportunity to catch these sweethearts live at Wonderland this year.

It takes charm to grab a decent social media following, just ask Brisbabe three piece, Dune Rats. Creating super fun and energetic stoner pop anthems, the dudes have been sweating crowds and inducing laughter as a result of their tomfoolery for years. Debuting their music with their five-track EP, Sexy Beach back in 2011, they've gone on to write catchy, feel-good jams; not to mention accompanying them with some pretty memorable clips ('Red Light, Green Light', anyone?). Nothing shy of stepping onto the festival stage, hit up the mosh and marvel in their antics as they supply a stellar soundtrack to get loose to.

While it's great fun getting super rowdy at a festival, some of the greatest sets are the ones that deeply move you from within. Take Brisbane dude, Danny Harley for example. Operating under The Kite String Tangle, he's just come back from touring the globe at many a music festival and conference, not to mention collaborating with Dustin Tebbutt on their Illuminate EP. Practising evocative production and cool sensibilities, his Wonderland set by the river is sure to pretty spectacular.

You know how sometimes a band or artist just appear out of thin air, due to the adopted tick of approval handed by some of their musical peers? Well that seems to be the case with the incredibly talented, Koi Child. A strong seven-man crew, the Fremantle outfit connect swap-meet soundscapes, influenced by jazz and topped off with intelligent rap verses. Praised by Rolling Stone Magazine, BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe, Mark Ronson and Tame Impala, you best believe these dudes mean business.

Breaking hearts with, 'Listen To Soul, Listen To Blues', indie-soul lords, SAFIA, have gone on to release quite a beautiful catalogue of emotive electronica. Besides playing their fair share of Australian festivals in 2015 alone, their Wonderland set will be a special welcome home party from their expansive American tour return. Evidently no strangers to the stage, allow the boys to whisk you away into a state of perpetual bliss.

Welcoming their first ever New Yorker to the Wonderland festival bill, R'n'B dream popper, Sweater Beats will make his way over to Perth this December! Skillfully manipulating vocals, laying down supple synthwork and applying bedroom production to club dancefloors, he blurs the lines of what comes out of our headphones as opposed to the sonic expectations of a busy environment. Recently introducing live instrumentation to his performances, it's sure to be a rather alluring set, as we observe the intellect of this clever composer before us.

An excellent start to the 2015 edition, Wonderland has promised a huge secret guest to be announced in the foreseeable future, as well as a handful of other tricks they've got up their sleeves.

Presale tickets are on sale now, and will ascend in price per allocation. General sale tickets are to be available next Monday, 5th October at 9am via Ticketbooth.
