London's BEATY HEART are back again in the New Year with their first release since their 2010 debut album Mixed Blessings.

London's BEATY HEART are back again in the New Year with their first release since their 2010 debut album Mixed Blessings. 'Flora' brings back the enthralling electro alt-pop we've come to expect from the trio but with a new deeper, bassier element that's nothing short of thrilling.

Beaty Heart are a university band, the trio coming together as a band at Goldsmith College in 2010. Since then they've released several EP's as well as their debut album Mixed Blessings in 2014 and gone on an extensive world tour with fellow Londoners Jungle.

Beaty Heart have got a lot to say about ‘Flora’, opening up about their eclectic variety of musical influences. “Flora was partly inspired by the Brazilian jazz singer, Flora Purim. We tried to evoke her rich, steamy tones within our own style… We also incorporated a vocal sample from 'Bad Bad Boys', a 90s Swedish rap hit by Midi, Maxi & Efti, heard during a Robyn DJ in Stockholm which we thought was sassy.”

With a track as good as 'Flora' there's no doubt good things to come from Beaty Heart.
