In anticipation of his new ep Dark Zoo, DRO CAREY the latest artist to sign to Soothsayer records has released 'Queensberry Rules' featuring vocalist KUCKA.

Sydney based producer Dro Carey brings a diverse range of production styles and synths to this track. The lead synth on 'Queensberry Rules' is a this bouncing bell/xylophone like synth that give the track a feeling of movement and groove, the grime styled drums help give this constant groove to the track as well. The track also has breakdowns where a faint sweeping synth can be heard in the background while the drums and main synth switch up and perform fills.

It should be of no surprise that Dro Carey has dabbled in the genre of grime before after hearing this track which seems to blend styles of grime and house. The vocals provided by Kucka fit the track well, drenched in reverb, it just adds another great layer to the tracks overall sound.
