Live Review: LAO RA drops the destructive single, 'Tell Me Why'

Venture into the transatlantic pop artist, LAO RA's perceptions of life as a young adult growing up in the depth of danger through her EP, Jesus Made Me Bad and most recently released, her final track from the EP, 'Tell Me Why'.

Venture into the transatlantic pop artist, LAO RA's perceptions of life as a young adult growing up in the depth of danger through her EP, Jesus Made Me Bad and most recently released, her final track from the EP, 'Tell Me Why'.

Growing up in one of the most violent cities in the world, Bogota; Columbia, music has always been a distraction from the cruel world Lao experienced on a daily basis. Through her straight talking style lyrics and punk attitude, you can tell this girl has come a long way. Rebelling against her Catholic heritage, Lao shows us all her "I don't care" approach, revealing her R&B and hip hop childhood influences through hip hop beats and electronic elements throughout her EP.

Her final tack, 'Tell Me Why' reveals the destructive nature of a relationship dependant on it's own destructiveness.  Her innocent vocals combined with confident lyrical content and catchy phrases creates an empowering addition to her collection of tracks. Take a listen here:
