Here at Purple Sneakers we love Electronic Music more than anything, so we’re super excited that EMC (Electronic Music Conference) has announced their 2016 dates, as well as some early bird tickets for those super keen goers.

If you don’t know about Asia Pacific’s largest industry event for electronic music, basically it’s a week in Sydney where around 2,000 Australian and International visitors spend a week at conferences, showcasing parties, and the inaugural inthemix awards. Last year they had 180 speakers across over 40 keynotes, panels and masterclasses; and over 25 performances from Australia’s leading emerging artists in electronic music.

Last year EMC had talks from the likes of Ta-ku, Nina Las Vegas, Tkay Maidza, Slumberjack, and Benson, not to mention key industry players such as Jessica Krishnaswamy (BBE), Erin Flanagan (Boiler Room Australia/Thinking Loud), and even our own Martin Novosel (PS Founder). We can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store this year.

On top of all this is the inthemix awards, celebrating the very best in Australian electronic music. Previous winners include Flume, Peking Duk, Flight Facilities, The Presets, Golden Features, and more. AND (saving the best till last) Musica Copa has been added to the festivities! You may know it as the annual football meets music industry charity event that we have a small hand in putting together.
