Live Review: Kaytranada dances with the cutest robot for his 'LITE SPOTS' video

Coming off his debut album 99.9% KAYTRANADA releases a new music video featuring a dancing robot for his track, 'Lite Spots'.

'Lite Spots' is a great track and the video adds to it's greatness by being uplifting and fun. Directed by Martin C. Pariseau the video features the story of a man (Kaytranada) building a robot then just having a good time with it by dancing and playing ball, it's a fun video to watch and it really captures the feeling of the track by being so lighthearted and happy.

Whenever the music picks up in volume and tempo the video picks up by having the characters start dancing and having a good time, details like this make the video more that just an extra thing tacked on to the music.

The music is fantastic but that almost goes without saying, it's lively and has some real interesting ideas that make it deeper than just another dance tune, mainly it's unusual pacing where the track's bassline will drop in and out, but also Kaytranada has an interesting sound to his production which not many can replicate.
