Live Review: Quays enlists Nancy Anderson for the breakbeat inspired, ‘Your Side’

With the release of his debut EP, Swoo, coming soon, QUAYS has come out with another single, 'Your Side' featuring Nancy Anderson.

'Your Side' has a rapid break beat drum style, along with some amazing synths that shift focus from being just a small part of the track to being the main lead during the more busy parts of the song.

There are a lot of different sounds happening in the track, 'Your Side' starts off fairly simple with it's rapid drum then keeps adding layers until it hits the perfect about where the music is dense but not overwhelming. Quays production talent is clearly shown on this track.

The vocals provided by Nancy Anderson sound great over the beat, from the sounds of it Quays took some of her vocals to chop up and others were left mostly raw to be sung, both of which sound great on the track, it gives this song life. Both artists have done great on this track.

Quays debut EP Swoo will be released July 22nd on new R&S Imprint Chewy Motto.
