Producer Silent Jay and vocalist Jace XL have just released a single for the compilation album Plastic World Volume 1 with their single 'Tides'.

Silent Jay and Jace XL are extremely good and bringing a soulful sound to everything they bring and this is no exception, from the silky smooth keys to the synth bass this track is great at giving a soulful R&B vibe. The production side manages to sound great, on top of great production that runs through the song features like a saxophone solo really make this track it's own.

The vocals on this track are great too, the duo know how to match the vocal styling of Jace XL with Silent Jay's production so well. What can be said about the vocals on this track is that they are dynamic and change style flawlessly, going from singing to rapping to singing softly, Jace XL really flexes his talent.

Of the track they note, "'Tides' is a celebration of life. The good and the bad. Life in its whole is beautiful, and is such because of the challenges and rising tides. The stream/flow remains, but does not stand still. It passes by in beauty. The ocean, rising tides and eruptions are examples of words I used to evoke a feeling of nature and its change with constant motion. Swim with the stream, not against it, and evolve with nature as it grows in beauty."
