Live Review: Mezko share glittery, stylish video for "Trust"

MEZKO is a Sydney duo creating some dark and synthy magic. The sound is something that creates both atmosphere, and a vision. Their latest track ‘Trust’ has the perfect video to take you into their tunnel of mysterious darkness.

Each synth created sound dives straight into your soul. Kat Harley and Laura Bailey have blurred the boundaries of electronica and rock and created something with that distinct touch of women infiltrating this side of music. There is something punky mixed in there, but basically you have to listen to understand how any of this works.

The track comes along with a glittery video clip that shimmers with each synth. It’s pretty cool, like part 80’s, part glitter bomb. You see Mezko create their sounds with synth, keyboard, guitar and vocals; all the while strobe lights are creating a weird hazy vibe in an underground tunnel. Importantly glitter is everything as far as the video for ‘Truth’ is concerned. It’s pretty damn sweet.

Mezko are truly making their mark out there, they are definitely ones to be taking note of. ‘Trust’ is out now.
