Brisvegas trio LEØ are cultivating Australia’s music scene, turning into a vessel for emotional awakening and youthfulness.

Brisvegas trio LEØ have been cultivating their sound for a little while now, turning it into a vessel for emotional awakening and youthfulness. Their latest single ‘Us’ captivates this essence perfectly and develops an instant anticipation for more of their soulful sounds.

Consisting of Chloe Pilkington, Callum MacDonald and Joshua Black, the three young talents are producing a super fresh, super modern rendition of the alternative genre with their unique synth-loops and angelic vocals. The trio explained their writing process of the new track as a transitional piece that found its way into their hands with ease “'Us' gave LEØ a whole new music path to go down. It was our first real ‘electronic’ song, with the main focus on the drums. Josh had just made up a new drum/synth loop and left it on repeat so I could write to it, while him and Callum went out to buy food. 20 minutes later, they had sushi for me and I had lyrics for them.”

It’s a compilation of trickling samples that creates mountains of bountiful relaxing echoes. It’s a beautifully produced track from the trio and creates a path of talent so clear you’ll happily leave ‘Us’ on repeat for hours. There is a certain depth to the song with the heartbreaking lyrics, “You’re like a wave, pulling me deeper every time you go”, adding a sense of maturity that is rarely found in such young, up and coming artists.
