Live Review: PREMIERE: Kormak drops killer debut two-track EP

11 October 2016 | 1:09 pm | Emma Jones

All killer, no filler, newcomer Kormak has arrived in style with the release of his debut EP "Get Down".

Just like first impressions, when it comes to debuts, you only get one. So you might as well give it your all. This is exactly what newcomer Kormak has done with his debut, out today via Medium Rare Recordings. Impressive is an understatement, as the man carves out his own spot in the club scene.

Comprised of two killer tracks, Kormak's Get Down EP pays homage to the Chicago Club scene whilst injecting his own style into the mix.

The man himself said of his release, "I had an absolute wicked time producing these two club tunes. I have a raw passion when it comes to preserving the initial essence of house music. I'm a big fan of the Chicago Club scene, and I've taken inspiration from their culture and tried to spin it in my own direction. To me, nothing is more powerful than having a solid groove that simply just can't get boring. I hope I did a pretty cool job in portraying that in the Kormak way. Hope everyone vibes!"
