Live Review: Anthony Fade delivers a galactic guest mix to help you through the week

It's getting close to the weekend and we bet you're all wondering if we have a guest mix for you to groove to whilst you're having your Friday night drinks. Well, guess what, we do and man is it smooth! This week, we decided to get ANTHONY FADE on guest mix duties and create a mix that feels oh so fresh, and oh so clean.

Back in December, Anthony Fade released their debut EP Like That and it was a whopper! Mixing house with a little bit of techno and a pinch of garage, the duo took us back to the good old days when house music what just emerging and finding its feet. A lot of artists have been drawing inspiration from this era, the era of underground raves and digital music's discovery, but none of them seem to be able to translate that era with modern atmospherics included. This is where Anthony Fade excels.

In their mix for FBi Click, the duo has taken a softer approach and eased us into the weekend as if we were dipping our toes into bluest pool of water. Smooth melodies take shape in the first few minutes before fully painting a picture of the bright stars that you'd see on a cool crisp night. The vibrant synths create an almost galactic atmosphere, taking you to the outer reaches of space and making you feel completely weightless as you float alongside each piece of music. It gets more upbeat as you move along and soon, you'll be dancing to a tribal beat that's layered with small techno elements and disco textures.
