Live Review: MUTO's new single featuring Deutsch Duke is sure to spread like 'Wildfire'

Sydney based beat maker Miles Davison, better known as MUTO, has put out a new single 'Wildfire', featuring the ever talented Deutsch Duke providing vocals on top of the lush production.

'Wildfire' begins simply with basic percussion before introducing the sultry vocals of Deutsch Duke and the rich synths that erupt into the forefront. These futuristic sounds add a tremendous amount of power to the song. MUTO truly brings his best to this track's production; the amount of layers that work together without overpowering each other is astounding, and the simple and subtle build up of each layer is done so masterfully. There's a hint of each musical element building up from the start and the satisfaction gained from the resolution when all the elements come together is immense.

The vocals Deutsch Duke provides add another layer of texture above the synths, and is accentuated by MUTO's slight amount of vocal effects to make for the perfect addition to MUTO's sound.

MUTO is a fantastic producer and teaming up with Deutsch Duke was genius: the two artists clearly put a lot of thought and effort on this track and it shows. We hope to hear more soon.
