Live Review: PREMIERE: ARKTKT will hypnotise you during the 'Convergence'

As you may have noticed, the Trench Records family just keeps on growing. Their newest signing ARKTKT will be injecting some well-needed bounce to the roster as his music is refreshingly smooth, with a subtle kick.

ARKTKT has just released 'Convergence', his first single with his new label. The track is the first official single from the producer's upcoming EP Uminari, which will be released in the next few weeks. Just by listening to 'Convergence', we can tell that this EP is going to be epic because the song itself seems to be chock full of elements that fit together perfectly.

Woozy synths sway alongside a sliding melody that shifts between digital jabs and airy textures. At its core, 'Convergence' is an atmospheric track, but the melody has been distorted into a futuristic treat full of character. The beat keeps everything steady as it bounces its way through the track, becoming the solid spine of the piece.

ARKTKT is unique because he can combine such psychedelic textures with digital accents to create a brand new piece of music that you don't hear much these days. His individuality makes him stand out in the electronic scene and will no doubt lead to some massive tracks down the road.
