William Kiss new track gets a ‘Revival’ from Made in Paris
Sydney producer MADE IN PARIS has just released a remix of label mate WILLIAM KISS‘ track ‘Revival’. His two track EP, Black Sky, was his first release through Upon Access, and caught the attention of the label head herself for a remix. The two artists share a love of driving bass and brooding techno soundscapes. With this remix, Made in Paris takes an already thumping track and primes it for the dance floor, adding the echoing synths and techno vibes she’s well known for.
William Kiss‘ original track is deep and unrelenting, a sound he is more than familiar with. This remix highlights all of the depth of the original while building in the top end with piano chords and echoing drums. The main synth chord of the original whirs under new drum patterns that never stay static for too long.
Synths sweep upwards and echo all over the track, giving this track scope like it was composed deep in a cave. The additions to the track are brutal while at the same time working towards that melodic style of techno that Made in Paris always strives for. The deep bass stabs, hi hat heavy percussion and pulsing rounded kicks drive on and on, and even make the bright piano chords feel menacing.
Ever the master of her craft and continually elevating her sound with each release, Made in Paris has proved with this release that not only can she curate artists well through her label, she’s also just as brilliant at remixing them.
Made in Paris‘ remix of ‘Revival’ is free to download, go nab it!
