Live Review: PREMIERE: Eduardo Muchacho commissions a replica of his head in his 'Siesta' clip

With his latest release 'Siesta' featuring as part of Of Leisure's Blue Line Steppers Compilation, local legend EDUARDO MUCHACHO's taking this one to the big screen with a narrative-heavy clip which by the way, we're bloody stoked to be premiering here today on Purple Sneakers.

For this one, Eduardo worked with director Joey Hunter and his new project, Options, which is a local Youtube channel that aims to promote new music with original music videos.

Kicking off with a positive response to a Gumtree ad selling 'hand made REALISTIC STATUES', Eduardo asks the seller, CHAD, to create a scale replica model of his head, and it's from here that the artist steps in to work his magic.

The clip follows the artist's journey in recreating an exact replica of Eduardo's face and I don't want to spoil anything but the results are absolutely not what you would expect.

It's artistic in the best way possible, and it's cool to see a bunch of talented local creatives putting their heads together to work on something both visually and sonically exciting. Do yourself a favour and get lost in the vocal sample-driven, crunchy acid of the track while you anxiously sit at the edge of your seat.
