Mildlife give us their dancefloor best on ‘How Long Does It Take?’
Melbourne multi-instrumental four-piece MILDLIFE are on a hell of a hot streak. After a stellar 2018 (where we dubbed them an Artist to Watch in 2019), the group have just announced that they’ll very aptly be joining the family at Inertia Music, alongside the likes of BadBadNotGood, Floating Points, Sudan Archives and more.

The locomotive power of the track never ceases, taking you with it on a journey across intergalactic planes. As instruments are added and omitted, the mood slowly builds, until the closing moments of the track where there’s a resolute kind of finality being felt, one that carries with you just as wholly on the recording as I’m sure it would after experiencing it live.
The 12″ B-side features two remixes direct from Cosmic Disco‘s Daniele Baldelli and his partner in crime Marco Dionigi. The first takes the track deep into late night territory, and the ‘Malba’ mix coming in hot, straight from the 1979 Cosmic Club dancefloor.
