Huge news for budding producers! Aussie label Future Classic have today announced a partnership with the good people at Dropbox, giving unsigned artists the opportunity to hold a studio residency in FC's Los Angeles recording studio.
The FC x Dropbox studios opened in April 2018, and since then, artists that have utilised the space includes SOPHIE, Moses Sumney, JPEGMAFIA, Clams Casino, Jacques Greene and more.
This opportunity will allow unsigned artists from across the globe the chance to work in this space and to also get assistance from the FC team in a variety of areas including writing and recording sessions with other artists. If successful, this also means that you'd be exposed to a committee of industry mentors across agents, promoters, managers, label and publishing execs, as well as creative professionals in music adjacent industries.
There is also financial assistance in travel, accommodation and costs associated with the residency available to applicants.
