Frank Ocean is the new face of Prada’s SS20 menswear campaign

Frank Ocean has been announced as the new face of Prada’s SS20 menswear line, it has been revealed. We truly LOVE to see it.

After wearing the Italian label at the Met Gala and in a recent W Magazine spread, it’s a no brainer to have Ocean on board for the new line. He’s joined by actor Austin Butler and director, screenwriter, and producer Nicolas Winding Refn in the David Sims shot campaign.

For each of the campaign stars, the letters of “Prada” have been repurposed as an acronym pertaining to each individual with Ocean‘s being “Programming Rhythms And Dancing Again.” According to the label, Ocean chose this himself as each acronym comes from “abstract ideas, thoughts, and notions”. All about “an intentional display of duality, multiplicity, constant reinvention and renewal,” you can read more about the new campaign here.

Frank Ocean has just been announced as one of the headliners for this year’s Coachella, fueling rumours and theories a new album is on the way and (hopefully) a wider tour on the cards. Until then, however, these images will do us just fine.
