After a last minute cancellation due to illness in Brisbane over the weekend, The 1975's Matty Healy leads a special acoustic bushfire relief show.

After cancelling the band's headlining set at Brisbane's Laneway Festival on Saturday due to health concerns, and recovering in time to dominate the Sydney leg, The 1975's Matty Healy looks set to lead the charge tomorrow night for a very special acoustic bushfire relief show in Sydney.

Hinting at this show in the weeks leading up to the band's Laneway stint, Healy along with RuelMansionairE^ST and KUCKA will all play at the relief concert on Tuesday, 4th February at Sydney's Metro Theatre.

Brisbane punters were left devastated when news that the much-loved band would no longer be performing at the festival broke early Saturday evening, with many punters leaving upon receiving the news after sticking it out all day in extreme heat conditions for The 1975. In a statement, the festival advised frontman Healy had been hospitalised and was unable to perform, but Healy took to Twitter the following day to advise fans, "I am alive and well shit just got way too vibey."

"I’m still taking it easy but I’ll see you tonight for maybe quite a calm set which could be nice anyway!!"

Healy also addressed his last-minute cancellation during The 1975's Sydney set, saying he had "bad eggs."
