The Black Madonna announces Sydney headline show

24 February 2020 | 4:12 pm | Staff Writer

International powerhouse THE BLACK MADONNA has good news for Sydney fans today with the announcement that she'll be taking to Sydney's Universal next month in a one-off headline sideshow while she's here for DAYS LIKE THIS and PITCH festivals.

Presented by Finer Things, Finely Tuned and Days Like This, The Black Madonna will continue her We Still Believe tour when she's Down Under as she continues to raise awareness as an ambassador to raise funds for the Help Refugees organisation. As such, a portion of the proceeds of this headline show will be donated to those seeking asylum on the grounds of persecution for being LGBTQIA in their home countries.

On support duties, Serbia's Tijana T will be on the decks providing the goods with her dominantly acid fusion of techno, breakbeat, house, and electro selections. Following bookings at Epizode, Timewarp and Berghain, alongside a highly recommended weekly Rinse FM radio show, Tijana T are currently flying high as one the planet’s most sought-after crate diggers. As if it couldn't get any better, Kate Doherty and Merph have also been tapped to round out this stellar show.
