Teaming up with Toro Y Moi, Flume is back with a new single this week titled 'The Difference', and a brand new video directed by Jonathan Zawada.

Just days after announcing a three-date residency at Red Rocks celebrating a decade of boundary-pushing, genre-defining music, FLUME (aka Harley Streten) has now shared a brand new single. Teaming up with TORO Y MOI, the song is called 'The Difference' and was created across two days, one at each artist's house.

Once again teaming up with frequent collaborator Jonathan Zawada for the accompanying visuals, the track is a skittering, catchy fusion of pop and EDM and features Chaz Bundick's unique vocals. Having been teased for some time, the collaboration shows both artists in their prime as Bundick effortlessly powers through his vocals over Streten's erratic, unpredictable beats.

Of the collaboration, the producer said, “We made this song between a day at my place in L.A. and a day at Chaz’s spot in Oakland."

“This was our first time working together, I’ve been a Toro Y Moi fan for a while. His song ‘Talamak’ is a longtime favourite. I listened to that one a lot when I first started Flume as a project.”

The shows at Red Rocks come ahead of Streten's forthcoming, currently-untitled third album. It comes after teasing new music on the way and another massive year for the producer in 2019 with the release of his Hi This Is Flume mixtape and two stellar standalone singles featuring Vera Blue and London Grammar. The likes of SOPHIE, CLAMS CASINO, CASHMERE CAT, TORO Y MOI and many more will be joining him throughout the three Red Rocks dates. Check out the video trailer for the show below.
