Nomadic Australian artist Zen In Space has dropped his debut LP, Earth Tones, via Sydney's Pharmaceutical Audio.

Released on March 13, Earth Tones is the follow up to two previous consecutive sold-out appearances on Sydney labels Moonshoe and Post Pluto. Produced over two years, the eight track album draws inspiration from Australia's vast and captivating landscape to create a warm array of sounds that embodies the vision for Earth Tones.

Earth Tones sees a formation of sounds that fluctuates between ambience, downtempo and experimental electronic. Zen In Space trials and incorporates a range of features including live instrumentation, analogue synthesis, drum machines and exotic field recordings that were captured throughout time spent in Australia's rich landscapes.

Taking inspiration from artists such as Four Tet, Boards of Canada, Floating Points and J Dilla, the warm and lush textures of Earth Tones are wrapped up in the intense beauty of natural earth, all in a bid to bring attention to the value and significance in preserving deeply delicate natural ecosystems.
