HAAi has launched her new record label, Radical New Theory, witht he debut release from Dutch-Australian producer Ozzy's EP, 'Een'.

HAAi has launched her new record label, Radical New Theory, with the debut release coming in the form of Dutch-Australian producer Ozzy's EP, Een.

When speaking on the release and how it came about, HAAi said, "Ozzy sent me a message online and I was immediately struck by the maturity of his unreleased body of work. The timing was perfect as it coincided with the idea of starting a label that would give exposure to new and unreleased artists."

"I’m stoked to have Ozzy as the first signing with his debut EP, Een.”

The uniqueness and diversity of HAAi's sound correlates with the intricate detail and character of Een. Across three tracks, Ozzy's formative influences of 90s techno and trance -which he was introduced to by his parents- are on full display, while proving HAAi's remarks of his impressive maturity correct. Ozzy explains that 'Een' translates to 'One' in Dutch, with the experimental elements in the production of the EP heavily influenced by old school 90s trance and techno that he was first introduced to by his parents.

"'Een' is a testament to my first release as a producer. An ode in a way to my Australian/Dutch roots, all three songs were produced in either, or both, of my two homelands."

Ozzy has featured on HAAi’s Radio One Residency show and has also caught the attention of DJ and producer Barnt, who will release Ozzy’s second EP on his label Schalen this month.

Een is out now via Radical New Theory. Check out the EP below:
