Strap yourself in for an allnighter with Telephones and Francis Inferno Orchestra in Brisbane this Friday!

11 March 2020 | 10:53 am | Staff Writer

Brisbane legends SHADE and Death Before Silence are once again doing the damn thing and are treating their community to an all-night boogie this Friday night. Tapping Norway's TELEPHONES and homegrown hero FRANCIS INFERNO ORCHESTRA for one huge party at The Foundry, this is not one to miss!

Starting with primitive PC-software and DJing in the late 90s, Telephones now has releases on the likes of underground-lables like Running Back, Sex Tags UFO, Acido, Klasse Wrecks, Love On The Rocks and Full Pupp. In 2014, his track 'Blaff' became an underground-hit and was named #16 on Resident Advisor's Best Tracks of that year. Fast forward to 2019 and he's launched his own label, European Carryall, and has played all over the world including sets at Berghain/Panorama Bar, Pitch and Splendour In The Grass. To see Telephones in a setting as intimate and up-close as The Foundry will make for a very special set indeed.

Francis Inferno Orchestra, no stranger to Brisbane, is heading back to the River City to show Telephones the ropes. His wonky discofied yet off kilter house sound is one that will get any dancefloor moving, and given he's an undeniable champion of Aussie music thanks to his label he runs with Fantastic Man, Superconscious, he's more than alright in our books!

Tickets are moving fast, so if you're wanting to head along, snap yours up now!
