Be transported back to Pitch Festival with sets from DJ Boring, FJAAK, Project Pablo + more
Chances are if you’re reading this, there’s not much you love more than a dance on a heaving dancefloor. And, chances are you’re probably missing that experience more than you realised possible right now. We’re over a month in since the Australian and global live music industries came to a screeching halt due to the coronavirus outbreak, so we’re taking anything we can get to transport us back to a time when we had live music. Thankfully, we’re not the only ones. The legends over at Pitch Music & Arts Festival are also feeling the sting and this week they have delivered the goods with a series of sets recorded at the Resident Advisor stage at their March festival.
Released via Resident Advisor, we can now experience sets from the likes of DJ Boring, FJAAK, Project Pablo, Skatebard, Sleep D and many more. This particular festival is an important one as it was one the very last events to happen in Australia and indeed across the world before the restrictions kicked into hear. Taking place over the first weekend of March, Pitch‘s 2020 line up was one of its very best yet, bringing legends from all over the world to our shores for not just this festival but stints at Days Like This in Sydney and sideshows across the country.
From a 90-minute run from DJ Boring to an hour of power courtesy of FJAAK, 60 minutes of Sleep D gold, three hours from Skatebard and a stellar two-hour stint from Whiskey Houston plus so much more, this selection of sets is enough to lift even the darkest of non-live-music-related-iso-blues. Listen to the full list of sets below!
