Escape to Joshua Tree with TOKiMONSTA and her Digital Mirage set

15 April 2020 | 1:42 pm | Emma Jones

TOKiMONSTA has shared her set from the Digital Mirage music festival held at the start of April, filmed while in isolation in Joshua Tree!

At the start of April, YouTube's Proximity channel, event promoters Brownies & Lemonade and LA management company Keel held an enormous online music festival. Titled Digital Mirage, the festival had a whopping 51 acts and raised over $300,000USD for the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund (an organisation provides financial assistance to career musicians and music industry workers).

One of the acts on the bill was none other than TOKiMONSTA. Having just released her new album, Oasis Nocturno, the producer's set featured some brand new cuts as well as some of her much-loved previous releases, and a heavy helping of some of her favourite songs in general. The festival was broadcasted from all over the world depending on where the artists playing were, and TOKiMONSTA's was particularly picturesque as she played at a set up with a stunning background at Joshua Tree.

Hinting that she was planning on sharing the set as a standalone video, that wish came true today for many fans with TOKiMONSTA officially releasing the set on YouTube and Soundcloud. The hour long set is now free to stream on both platforms, so you can dive right back in or witness it for the first time. Perfect for a momentary escape while in your own isolation. A particular highlight is when she mixes 'The Next Episode' into a heaving remix of Missy Elliott's 'Work It', so be sure to turn this one all the way up!
