triple j Unearthed announce Indigenous Takeover for Reconciliation Week

triple j Unearthed has announced its new music program TOPS will be taken over this week to celebrate Reconciliation week.

In celebration of Reconciliation Week this week, triple j Unearthed has announced an Indigenous Takeover for its new music radio show, TOPS. Kicking off from Wednesday, 27th May at 5:30PM, Unearthed's radio station "will highlight the country’s most exciting new Indigenous Australian artists whose songs were uploaded to triple j Unearthed in 2020."

Hosted by triple j's Indigenous presenters and producers, you can expect to hear Dave Woodhead (triple j Weekday Lunch presenter, stand-up comic and Torres Strait Islander man), Karla Ranby (triple j Weekend Lunch presenter, TV presenter and Gamilaroi woman), Ashley McGregor (triple j Breakfast Producer and Wathaurong woman), Marlee Silva (triple j presenter, writer, podcaster and Kamilaroi/Dunghutti woman), Tyrone Pynor (triple j presenter, SBS broadcaster and Torres Strait Islander man) and Loren Ryan (ABC trainee journalist, musician and Gamilaraay woman) on air.

The takeover kicks off from Wednesday, May 27th and will run through to June 3rd. You can listen right here, or via the triple j app on demand.
