FBi Radio has shared the commitment as well as anti-racism resources and a playlist with links to purchase music from Black and First Nations artists!

In an effort to do more for First Nations and Black artists, FBi Radio has announced a change in programming and have committed to playing music from these artists for a full day every month. "This very small step is one of many we're taking to better amplify, platform and centre Black and First Nations voices," they said in a statement.

Further to this announcement, the station also shared a playlist of Black and First Nations artists with Bandcamp links to purchase their music, and shared a page full of anti-racism resources on their website.

"We also recognise that FBi is built off and benefits from Black culture and experiences. The vast majority of the music we play and the art forms we consume are rooted in Black culture," FBi Radio said.

The announcement comes after the music industry has banded together to do more to support Black and First Nations artists in the wake of the eruption of protests across the United States, with solidarity protests against police brutality and systemic racism here in Australia planned for this weekend.
