Hudson Mohawke and Tiga team up for heaving new banger, 'Love Minus Zero'

HUDSON MOHAWKE and TIGA have joined forces for a brand new collaborative project, and have shared the first single today. Titled 'Love Minus Zero', the track was premiered by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 as her Hottest Record in The World and can only be described as a racing, euphoric banger.

Both producers have alluded to the fact there is still more to come from their collaboration, with Hudson Mohawke tweeting "Launching @tiga and I’s collaboration that has been quietly in the works the last couple of years. 1st track out today." Tiga also confirmed this has been a long time coming via Instagram, writing, "Ross and I have been working on this stuff since before everything changed."

Tiga continued, writing, "We have no scene. We are sceneless. It’s more the soundtrack to our friendship than anything else. Which is perfect. LOVE MINUS ZERO. Me and @hudmo Hardcore Romance by Hardcore Romantics. Made with love."

No strangers to collaborating with each other, the pair also released music together in 2016 on Tiga's 2016 album No Fantasy Required. According to Resident Advisor, Tiga said of the pair's friendship that although it "seems kind of unlikely on paper, but took nanoseconds to click once we actually met."

"I like the idea of bizarre semi-random things getting thrown together. That's already part of how me and HudMo work. I bring things and he brings things, and those things normally not might mix. There's an odd-couple aspect about us, but that's the best part of it."
