Sydney is set to get a new weekly party titled BLOOM., kicking off this week at the much-loved Lord Gladstone.

Live music events? In 2020?? We're pinching ourselves just thinking about it but the rumours are true: live music is slowly returning to our venues and Sydney is just about to get a string of gigs which is news we are so excited about. Titled "BLOOM.", the legends behind Waratah Records and the iconic, much-loved Lord Gladstone Hotel are joining forces for a new weekly party that kicks off this coming Friday, September 4th!

With a focus on being diverse and inclusive, and staying away from focusing too much on any one genre or style, BLOOM. "is for anyone who is a fan of local Sydney music," organisers said.

For those unfamiliar, Waratah Records is a Western Sydney based label and promoter, with numerous of ongoing parties in their hometown. BLOOM. looks set to broaden the remit of the label as it aims to give artists a spotlight in front of Sydney audiences at The Gladdy, home to so much of Sydney's vibrant live music scene and culture.

Set to kick off September 4th, the next four weeks of BLOOM. have already been announced, with plans to expand the parties even further as more restrictions lift throughout the city. This Friday will see Dante Knows be joined by Jessica Jade, with The Shang headlining next Friday, September 11th. The following week on September 18th, Rackett will perform alongside Lavrence with BoomChild rounding out the month on September 25th. Tickets are on sale now for all shows via DICE, a new ticketing/event discovery platform in Australia. Organisers have confirmed the event will indeed be COVID-safe, with plans and social distancing measures put in place to ensure the safety of those attending in all capacities.
