Live Review: Anna Lunoe taps Japanese rapper Nakamura Minami for 'Ice Cream'

2 December 2020 | 4:09 pm | Emma Jones

Released just before her first show of 2020, Anna Lunoe gets the party started with a thumping, sugary sweet new single titled 'Ice Cream'.

Summer is here and Anna Lunoe has just the track to kick off the season in style. Teaming up with Japanese rapper and Trekkie Trax affiliate Nakamura Minami, the pair deliver a thumping new heater titled 'Ice Cream', set to cool things down and heat things up all at the same time.

Super sweet rave synths keep things uplifted while heaving, pounding drums ensure the track chugs along in 'Ice Cream'. Minami's vocals ring out over the fray while Lunoe remains firmly in control of the party, whipping the listener into a frenzied state with her relentless but inviting production delivering a jam-packed track with overflowing good vibes.

'Ice Cream' is Anna's first release of 2020 and follows on from the release of her 2019 EP, Right Party, and her track with Nina Las Vegas, 'One Thirty'. The new single also comes just in time for her first show of 2020 this month in Brisbane where she's set to play with Hermitude at Factory Summer Festival.
