Groovin The Moo won't be going ahead in 2021, announces new local concert series

Groovin The Moo has announced its 2021 edition will not be going ahead, and has cancelled its dates for the second year in a row.

“It is with a heavy heart that we need to postpone Groovin the Moo for the second year,” Cattleyard Promotion’s Steve Halpin said in a press statement.

“We’re really going to miss GTM and not being able to spend another year with our crews, artists, team members, suppliers and you!”

The festival has confirmed its plans for those who held onto their tickets for the 2020 events, saying that should punters continue to hold onto them, they will remain eligible for 2022's festival run instead. However, refund information is available here for those who need it.

However, it wasn't all bad news from the GTM team. They've also announced that while Groovin The Moo itself won't be going ahead, they're launching a new concert series to still bring live music to the regions throughout the year. Titled Fresh Produce, the expanded series is bringing GTM's local stage on the road with Cattleyard announcing dates in Townsville, Bunbury, Maitland, Toowoomba, Glenorchy, Canberra, Bendigo and Wayville throughout August, September and October.

The single stage event was announced at the end of last year and is being put on with help from with the help from the government’s Restart Investment to Sustain And Expand grant.
