Introducing Outfield, a new festival for the new world

17 February 2021 | 3:57 pm | Emma Jones

The new brainchild from collective The Operatives, and electronic music experts Parade Touring, Outfield is new festival of its own kind.

The new brainchild from ground-breaking collective The Operatives, and electronic music experts Parade Touring, Outfield is new urban festival of its own kind for the Melbourne scene. Headlined by Opiuo, Spoonbill, Haiku Hands and more, this is a festival ready for the new world of socially distanced live music events.

The two day, two line-up festival held at The Nursery Flemington has the freedom to dance at the heart of its experience, and invites punters into their new world to experience their favourite artists in a completely new way. The dub and bass heavy line-ups will play to a set up which won’t feature platforms or scaffolding. Instead, Outfield will feature private green grassy pitches for everyone to dance and enjoy safely. With a host of tasty, contactless, food and beverage options also set to be on offer, this is not an event to miss out on!
