Live Review: Logic1000 announces new EP alongside new single, "What You Like" feat. yunè pinku

Berlin-based, Sydney-born producer Logic1000 is looking to continue her hot streak of incredible music, announcing her new EP, 'In The Sweetness Of You', out November 12 via Therapy. Between her breakthrough, self titled EP, to most recently, her double single release, "Safe In My Arms" and "YourLove", Logic1000 has been on a massive ascend to the upper echelons of underground dance music. In that 2 year period of time she's ticked some of dance musics highest honours, from a feature mix for Mixmag, completing the Resident Advisor Podcast, a BBC Radio 1 Mix and back home hosting a Triple J Mixup Residency. Alongside the announcement she's released new single, 'What You Like' featuring yunè pinku.

'What You Like' is a chuggy, 3 minute mood lifter. A crisp and big 4/4 percussion line acts as the tracks beating heart, sitting beneath gorgeous yet eerie melodic synths. The production elements combine perfectly with yunè pinku, an 18-year-old Malaysian/Irish producer who brings a mournful introspection to the track.

Speaking of the forthcoming EP, Logic1000 stated, "The last EP I made, You’ve Got The Whole Night To Go, was very much a club and festival EP that would have been - if not for lockdown - perfect for playing out. But while making this EP, there was the potential that the songs could actually be played out in clubs and festivals - and there are definitely moments on this release that could be played out. However, most of the tracks are more for listening in a quieter setting. This wasn’t a conscious decision by any means, it was simply the product of experimentation and growth.”
