Jesswar has entered the Triple J Like A Version arena for a rendition of Limp Bizkit's cult adored rager, 'Rollin'

Fresh off the back of her new single, 'BAD LIKE RIRI' featuring Erica Banks, Jesswar has entered the Triple J Like A Version arena for a rendition of Limp Bizkit's cult adored rager, 'Rollin'. The performance marks the return of the format on Triple J, after a break given the COVID situation across NSW.

Jesswar tackled the track with a three piece band, who presented a raw, energetic and grungy rendition of the cleaned up original. They lay the perfect platform for Jesswar to replace Fred Durst's original vocal contributions on the track. It's no surprise Jesswar has chosen the track, with the originals knack for blending a high energy vocal performance with quick witted rap style lyrics, a sonic sentiment not too different from her original music.

“It was very different for me to come onto it because I’m quite chill in person…it was cool to get a bit wild on it,” Jesswar stated in a behind the scenes interview with Triple J.

She also performed that recently released ode to Rihanna, 'BAD LIKE RIRI' on the platform. We described the track as featuring roaring synths which combine perfectly a hard percussion section, creating the perfect trap bed for Jesswar to dominate the track. Sharp verses combine perfectly with her witty chorus. then enters Erica Banks, who holds the tracks energy following Jesswar’s delivery.
