No matter how prepared you may feel, no matter how low key your activities are during the day, there's no way to truely prepare for a hectic night out.
Brooklyn-based, DIY producer turned global dance music artist to watch bad tuner is continuing his meteoric rise to the top releasing his highly anticipated back to my <3 EP. To celebrate the release he's unveiled the gorgeous music video for the project's single echorain alongside Sebastian Adé. The video is premiering exclusively on Purple Sneakers today.
The project beautifully maps out the series of euphoric events that happen on a night out and on a heaving club dance floor. Each track acts as a vignette into a sequence of the night, from dancing with a stranger, to the lust and excitement of meeting someone new aswell as those amazing solo dance floor moments where true escapism is felt. He does this through an immaculate glaze of house music, where shimmering synths, bright vocals and four to the floor drum patterns evoke a nostalgia towards these club moments.
The EP's crescendo is its final part, echorain which lands with an accompanying music video in collaboration with Patrick Elmore. The video brings the EP's ethos to life and sees bat tuner himself soundtrack the night while dancers and fleeting lovers surround him. While the video opens with bliss, there is immediately tension in the air, alluding to the night of chaos ahead. As with many real life clubbing experiences, no matter how prepared you may feel, no matter how low key your activities are during the day, there's no way to truely prepare for a hectic night out.
