Her first full length release since her experimental pop masterpiece 'PANG'.
The world's newest pop queen Caroline Polachek has released her long awaited new record, Desire, I Want To Turn Into You.
The album release follows a string of amazing and fan adored singles including Bunny Is A rider, Billions, Sunset, Welcome To My Island and Blood And Butter, which all crescendo to todays release.
Since launched her career Polachek has been rapidly rising the avant-pop ranks, landing on Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia Tour as well as performing at massive festivals including Lollapalooza, Coachella, Glastonbury and more.
The record is her first full length release since her experimental pop wonder PANG.
Desire, I Want To Turn Into You utilises the great hallmarks of the pop genre and transforms them with Polachek's signature musical touch. The collection, co-produced almost entirely by Polachek and Danny L. Harle shines with melodies and sounds less familiar in the mainstream. From the flamenco rhythms in Sunset to the Scottish bagpipes in Blood And Butter, the record forms to create a deeply ethereal experience driven by odes to love coupled with potent synths.
The only features come on the album's 7th track, Fly To You, which sees Grimes, Dido and Polachek combine to create a melange of vocal puzzle pieces to create a moment of pure ecstasy on the tracklist.
