Doja Cat has lost nearly 370,000 followers after she royally pissed off fans after insulting them in a fiery back and forth over social media that came to light earlier this week.

According to Social Blade via XXL, over 260,000 Doja fans hit the unfollow button on Instagram in the 24-hour period between Sunday (July 23) and Monday (July 24), with the total number of followers lost currently standing at an eye-watering 369,357 over the past 30 days.

ICYMI: It started on Monday (July 24) when the Twitter account Pop Base posted a screenshot of a now-deleted conversation between the Woman rapper and some fans, during which she shut down requests to tell her fans she “loves them”.

"My life my rules[,] my style[,] my attitude," she wrote to a fan, to which they replied, "I wanna hear you say (I do love you guys) as usual you say to your fans."

Doja replied "I don't though cuz i don't even know yall."

Another fan added: "and we don't know you. [B]ut we have supported you through thick and thin. Mind you you'd be NOTHING without us. [Y]ou'd be working at a grocery store making songs on fuckking garage band miss high school drop out…"

Doja responded: "[N]obody forced you idk why you're talking to me like you're my mother bitch you sound like a crazy person."

She also lashed out at fans after discovering they had lashed out after hearing that her fanbase had dubbed themselves “Kittenz”.

"My fans don't name themselves shit," she wrote in her since-deleted Threads conversation that was captured by The Shade Room. “If you call yourself a 'kitten' or fuckking 'kittenz' that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house."

When one fan account asked what they should change their name to, Doja responded, "Just delete the entire account and rethink everything it's never too late."

And that’s exactly what they did. Following her scathing social media comments, many of Doja Cat’s top fan pages have since deactivated their Twitter accounts (as per Pop Crave).

It’s not the first time Doja has had a heated exchange with fans. Doja. In March last year, she was blasted for not stopping to talk with fans outside of her hotel in Paraguay (as per LA Times).

“I don’t give a fuck anymore I fuckin’ quit I can’t wait to fucking disappear and I don’t need you to believe in [me] anymore,” she tweeted following the incident. “Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and I’m a fucking fool forever thinking I was made for this this is a fucking nightmare unfollow me.”

Doja Cat has not yet commented on the latest wild turn of events.
