East London DJ and vocalist Eliza Rose is gracing Australia with her presence for the first time this Autumn, announcing headline tour dates alongside her appearances at Groovin The Moo.
A distinct lover of UK's underground scene since she was young, Rose is an ultimate tastemaker in electronic music.
She also happened to release the song of 2022, B.O.T.A (Baddest Of Them All) with Interplanetary Criminal. The track which is a gorgeous, glitzy four to the floor garage banger with catchy hook took the world by storm, appearing all across the world in the darkest of clubs and on the biggest of radio stations. So much so it landed at number 2 in triple j's Hottest 100 last week. The track has clocked hundreds of millions of streams and been nominated for a Brit Award. It also saw Rose be the first femme DJ to top the UK Singles Chart in over 20 years.
Rose was born into a creative community in Hackney where she found herself immersed and inspired by many multi-disciplinary hubs. She was raised on soul music by the legends Amy Winehouse and Nina Simone and has combined their vocal approaches with the UK electronic subcultures which she adores.
Growing up amidst UK rave culture placed her at the forefront of many different sounds – which helps when she’s holding down crowds for disparate crews like fabric, Rhythm Section, Percolate and Boiler Room.
The tour kicks off at Universal in Sydney on April the 26th, before heading to Melbourne's the Night Cat on the 3rd of May and Rechabite in Perth on the 5th of May.
