Groundbreaking artist and producer Fred Again.. has today shared new single Delilah (Pull Me Out Of This) the latest taste of his forthcoming full length album Actual Life 3 (January 1 - September 9 2022) which is set for release on the 28th of October.
The track features a sample of his close friend Delilah singing her own track Lost Keys on Instagram. It was debuted during his viral Boiler Room set earlier this year, which is now a certified classic, passing over 7 million streams on YouTube. The track is classic Fred Again.., pulling inspiration through unadulterated energy. Crowd samples ring in and out of the mix, as Delilah's vocal ebbs and flows between a thumping house beat. Its melodic elements are warm and inviting, juxtaposing its hard hitting, infectious percussion section. His world class production skills shine prominently, creating a 4 minute epic and vignette into everything we love about Fred Again...
The track builds on the formidable template already laid down with his pair of album's of the same name. Now he resumes his diary-esque approach to production with its third iteration, using voice notes from friends and videos which he has found on Instagram. The track list will offer fans an insight into his life experiences over the past years, a continuation of the auto-biographical works which we have all come to know and love Fred for. Sonically it pushes forward the heritage of UK dance music, while reflecting on intimate moments with friends, relationships, love, life and epic dancefloor moments.
The album will feature previously released singles Danielle (smile on my face), Bleu (better with time) and Kammy (like i do) which channel the same energy. Fred Again.. will perform in Australia earlier next year as a part of Laneway Festival alongside the likes of HAIM, Joji & Phoebe Bridgers.
