Trinidad-born, Eora-based artist Gold Fang has today shared his latest summer single Drop alongside Naarm based R&B extraordinaire CD.

The track lands ahead of his debut headline show at the House Of Music & Booze this Saturday on the 17th of December.

Fang's stream of releases has made him one of Australia's strongest local tastemakers as well as being at the forefront of Australia's thriving Afro-Caribbean creative community. Across his discography, including tracks like Big Natty Rasta, Wet, Light It and Make It Snow, Fang's won over his audience through his unique versatility, his undeniable charisma and intimate story telling abilities.

The track is produced by frequent collaborators Swick and Korky Buchek and features a fierce fusion of dancehall and R&B, bringing together Gold Fang's melodic Caribbean flow and high-energy pop sensibilities. On the flip side and into the track's bridge, CD turns up the heat with calm, beautifully performed sensual vocals and layered harmonies which enhance and showcase a softer edge the gorgeous production.

According to Gold Fang, Drop is about "this sexy girl who I can’t take my eyes off. The way she moves is intoxicating.” On collaborating with CD he states that, “Working with CD was calm. I was a lil shy to work with someone who I respect like that. She a gangster, but she is subtle with it.”

Gold Fang now turns to his headline show at the House Of Music & Booze in Sydney/Eora this Saturday the 17th of December (tix HERE) and before heading to Dharawal / Wollongong on the 18th of December and an appearance at Field Day on January 1st.
