This year they're back stronger than ever with its strongest programming to date, stacked with a wide range of musical talent.
Over the past couple of years, Vivid has become one of the biggest events in Eora/Sydney, both for its facilitation of culture and visual art, but also importantly their massive music lineups. This year they're back in fine fashion with their strongest programming to date, stacked with a wide range of musical talent and a whole heap of epic dance lineups.
Astral People will be celebrating their 10th birthday across three days during the madness, with Hiatus Kaiyote, Genesis Owusu, Cosmo’s Midnight, Cashmere Cat and heading that individual lineup. Sampa the Great will be debuting her ‘An Afro Future’ at the event. Other dance music highlights include parties at Sydney's Opera house studio with takeovers by dance stalwart promoters Future Classic, Mad Racket & Picnic all taking over the dungeon with their respective tones.
There’ll also be performances from Georgia Maq, Miiesha, Budjerah, Gordi, Methyl Ethel and more.
Keep an eye on Purple Sneakers over the next coming weeks, as we dive into the respective tastemaker lineups.
